🌱 Early Weeks:
The first few weeks of life are critical. We closely monitor each mother to ensure she’s nurturing and feeding her litter properly. Puppies are kept warm with heating pads and are checked regularly, supported by 24/7 camera observation. As they grow, they’re gently introduced to household sounds, children, and other dogs — building the social confidence Belgian Shepherds need to thrive.
🩺 Health & Vaccinations:
Every puppy receives routine deworming, veterinary health checks, and age-appropriate vaccinations before joining their forever family. We also begin crate exposure and basic handling early to make their transition smoother.
🛏️ Pre-Whelping Preparation:
Around 10 days before delivery, the mother is moved into her private whelping area. We create a calm, cozy space using white noise, gentle music, and soft lighting to help her feel secure. Her diet is enriched with nutritious meals, yogurt, puppy kibble, and goat milk to support her and her growing litter.
👶 Whelping & Post-Delivery Care:
During and after whelping, both mom and pups are kept warm and closely monitored under heat-controlled conditions. In the first week, the mother rarely leaves her pups. By weeks 2–3, she is gently reintroduced to the outdoors for light exercise and bonding time with us — keeping her spirit strong and positive.
